BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. The cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 14 percent in 2023 to 11.4 billion manat ($6.7 billion) compared to 2022, Trend reports via the country's State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

The committee's data showed that the local legal entities rendered services to the population for 8.6 billion manat ($5 billion) in the reporting year, which is 75.8 percent of the total volume of rendered services.

Meanwhile, the volume of paid services per capita averaged 1,123 manat ($660.59), which is 204.8 manat ($120.4) more year-on-year.

The value of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan in 2022 increased by eight percent year-on-year and amounted to 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).

Legal entities in Azerbaijan provided services to the population for seven billion manat ($4.1 billion) last year, which is 75.9 percent of the total volume of services provided.

The value of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan in 2021 increased by 4.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to 7.7 billion manat ($4.5 billion).
