BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Production of steel pipes in Azerbaijan increased 2.2 times (up to 293,000 tons) from January through December 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
Meanwhile, the production of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in the country decreased in value terms by 30.1 percent to 1.1 billion manat ($640 million) (1.3 billion manat ($760 million) in the same period last year).

Note that the production of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan in 2022 compared to 2021 increased in value terms by 26.06 percent to 1.3 billion manat ($760 million).
However, Azerbaijan's metallurgical industry production in 2021 increased by 38.5 percent, or 442 million manat ($259.7 million), compared to 2020, reaching 1.1 billion manat ($640 million).
