BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 14. The cost of paid services supplied to the public in Baku increased by 17.4 percent in 2023 compared to 2022, totaling 7.3 billion manat ($4.2 billion), Trend reports, referring to the Baku City Statistics Department.
Based on the department's indicators, legal entities delivered services worth 5.5 billion manat ($3.2 billion) to the capital's inhabitants during the specified time, accounting for 75 percent of the total value of services rendered.
Meanwhile, in 2022, the value of paid services given to the Baku population climbed by 9.1 percent over 2021, reaching 5.7 billion manat ($3.3 billion).
In reference with Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, the cost of paid services supplied to the people in 2022 increased by 8 percent over 2021, reaching 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).
