BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 16. Azerbaijan produced 3,433 tons of paint and varnish goods from January through February 2024, 7.3 percent more than the same period in 2023, Trend reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee's data, propylene production totaled 27,900 tons during the reporting period, 1.1 percent more than the indication for the same period in 2023.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan produced 153,100 tons of propylene, 162,800 tons of polyethylene, 165,600 tons of polyethylene, 165,600 tons of ethylene, 208,100 tons of iodine, and 21,627 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2023.
To note, Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194,700 tons of iodine, 5,4 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol and 23,4 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2022.
