BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. The World Bank (WB) expects Azerbaijan's real GDP growth in 2024 to reach 2.3 percent, compared to 2.4 percent forecasted earlier, Trend reports.
According to the WB's Global Economic Prospects report, Azerbaijan's GDP growth for 2025 is forecasted at the level of 2.4 percent, up from 2.5 percent earlier.
Average annual growth will thus amount to 2.35 percent.
According to the World Bank's estimates, Azerbaijan's GDP growth in 2023 amounted to 1.1 percent.
The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan forecasts the country's GDP growth at the level of 2.4 percent for 2024 and 2.9 percent for 2025.
Azerbaijan's GDP in 2023 amounted to 123 billion manat or $72.35 billion, while real economic growth is assessed at 1.1 percent.
