BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. The production of foundry steel from January through May 2024 increased by 33.9 percent (up to 150,400 tons) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
Meanwhile, the production of metallurgical industry products and finished metal products in the country increased in value terms by 24.04 percent to 528.3 million manat ($310.6 million) (102.4 million manat ($60.2 million) in the same period last year).

To note, the production of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan in 2023 compared to 2022 decreased in value terms by 12.57 percent to 1.1 billion manat ($646,000).
