BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Trading Economics analysts forecast average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2024 at the level of three percent, Trend reports.
Based on Trading Economics' forecasts, average annual inflation is projected at 0.5 percent for the second quarter, 1.3 percent for the third quarter, 3 percent for the fourth quarter, and 4.5 percent for the first quarter of 2025.
The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan predicts annual inflation at 5.3 percent in 2024. According to UN forecasts, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan this year will be 5.9 percent.
The International Monetary Fund forecasts that average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will decrease to 4.7 percent this year, while the World Bank estimates it will be 5.8 percent in 2024.
The Dutch ING Group forecasts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 4.4 percent this year.
