BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4. The President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso, is set to visit Mongolia from October 6 to 10, 2024. During her trip, she will hold discussions with senior government officials in the capital, Ulaanbaatar, Trend reports.
Renaud-Basso's agenda includes the signing of several private projects focused on the agribusiness and sustainable construction sectors. Her meetings with officials will center on enhancing cooperation between the EBRD and Mongolia.
Key topics for discussion will include the significance of renewable energy, regional connectivity, financing for the green economy, and sustainable mining practices, all of which are vital for the country’s long-term development.
Since its engagement with Mongolia, the EBRD has invested nearly $2.6 billion across 149 projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting the nation's economic growth.
