Germany’s Vollert company eyes to build earthquake-resistant high-rise buildings in Azerbaijan

Germany’s Vollert biggest industrial construction company has great plans related to the construction of housing estates with high seismic resistance, a source in the company told Trend.

“The company offers its services in the construction of earthquake-resistant buildings from eight to nine points,” the source added.

“On our side, all relevant documents, in which the necessary indicators for the construction of facilities have been indicated, have been prepared,” the source said. “We design the earthquake-resistant residential facilities from eight to nine points.”

“At the same time, we plan to construct facilities both in Baku and in the country’s districts,” the source said. “We have rich experience in Azerbaijan. We took part in the implementation of a number of infrastructure projects, as well as replaced the track in the Baku Metro and built a plant for the production of reinforced concrete sleepers in Azerbaijan.”

“As part of the Baku Metro modernization project, aimed at creating optimal conditions for the operation of high-speed trains, our company has developed a special design for ballastless track, to ensure comfort and safety on high-speed highways," a source in the company said.

“Along with the design of the track system, Vollert company built a line for the production of reinforced concrete sleeper blocks, which produces sleepers for metro sections by the exact size,” the source said.

"Presently, the plant for the production of reinforced concrete sleepers produces up to 30,000 sleepers per year," a source in the company said.

Vollert is a leading partner of plants of reinforced concrete products and construction companies.

The company also implements infrastructure projects, including bridge spans and soundproof baffles in the city.
