Construction of the wholesale distribution center continues in Kazakhstan’s North Kazakhstan region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of regional akimat (administrative center).
Region’s Head Kumar Aksakalov visited the construction sites in region’s Petropavl city, one of which was that of wholesale distribution center.
As noted during Aksakalov’s visit, currently the internal work is already being completed at the construction site and first goods delivery is expected in about 1.5 months.
The center is expected to reduce the import of ‘gray’ supplies to the region, and the clear fixation and convenient distribution of products without intermediaries will positively affect goods’ price both in wholesale and retail.
The wholesale distribution center will be operating at the ‘single window’ principle.
Furthermore, the reconstruction of Petropavl’s railway station is also underway in the region. Two elevators and a number of escalators will be installed at the station. The adjacent territory of the station will be landscaped this year. Some 100 million tenge ($265,181) will be allocated to do so.
