General Electric service center to be built in Turkmenistan

Turkey’s Calik Holding will build a center for repair and technical maintenance of power equipment on the territory of a power plant in Abadan town (formerly Buzmeyin) in Ashgabat city of Turkmenistan, Trend reports referring to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Workshops will be built on an area of ​​more than 4,000 square meters, which will be equipped with high-tech machines from leading manufacturers, including General Electric company.

In particular, technical maintenance of gas turbines of power plants, electric generators, transformer substations of different capacities and electric panels will be implemented in the workshops.

Presently, 32 gas turbines of different capacity from General Electric are operated in Turkmenistan.
