The Russian Vozrozhdenie industrial company is ready to join Turkmenistan in developing the North-South Transport Corridor, Trend reports referring to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, which published an article of Director of the company’s Ashgabat branch Alexander Petrov.
Petrov said that the creation of the North-South Transport Corridor will strengthen the position of Turkmenistan as an important participant in international trade, ensuring uninterrupted high-speed transit of goods through its territory.
In addition, this road corridor will become a logical complement to the already launched and successfully operated North-South steel highway, the director said.
Vozrozhdenie has been operating in Turkmenistan for over 10 years and commissioned more than 20 infrastructure facilities, including over 50 kilometers of first category roads and 18 road junctions and bridge structures.
Recently, the company presented a major project for the construction of a mudflow protection complex in Ashgabat.
For the implementation of projects in Turkmenistan, the company has created the appropriate infrastructure including as asphalt plants, concrete-mixing units, quarry for the extraction and production of inert materials with a monthly shipment of products up to 150,000 cubic meters and other facilities.
