Uzbekistan's Ahangarantcement JSC has allocated more than 32 billion soum ($3.1 million) to the state budget (profit tax, VAT, land tax, property tax, water use tax, subsoil use tax, social tax and others) for the period from January through April, 2020, Trend reports with reference to the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
Production plan for the period from March through April 2020, made up 105 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
According to the decision of the Republican Anticrisis Commission, work on construction of social sphere facilities where Ahangarantsement JSC products are supplied have been resumed.
The facilities include the Tashkent-City complex, East -Tashkent airfield, the Islamic Development Center, the Navruz park of culture, the Yunusabad and Sergeliy lines of the Tashkent subway, the Kamchik small hydropower plant in Namangan province and others.
According to the last year's results, the company recorded a significant increase in cement production: 1.9 million tons of products.
Currently, six large and 19 smaller cement enterprises with a total capacity of 11.1 million tons are operating in Uzbekistan. The largest of them are: JSC Kyzylkumcement (3.1 million tons), JSC Ahangarancement (2.2 million tons) and the Sherabad Cement Plant (1.5 million tons).
