AzVIRT LLC, an Azerbaijani construction company has started preparation work for a road project in Serbia, a source in the company told Trend.
“The company plans to complete excavation work as part of a highway reconstruction project in the summer so that in September it could begin road reconstruction under the project’s second phase,” the source said.
“The project includes construction of roads and related road infrastructure in Serbia. The cost of the project is 207 million euro and is financed by one of the largest Chinese banks,” the source noted, adding that the project is set for 2 years.
"Previous major project implemented by the AzVIRT was completed at the beginning of 2019,” said the source.
AzVIRT completed the previous project with partners in Serbia and intends to cooperate with partners in this country as part of a new road project.
AzVIRT is one of the well-known road construction contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, airports. In addition to the construction and design of roads and large facilities, the company also produces building materials, including asphalt mixes, fractional gravel, activated mineral powder.
