A new road will be built to connect with Poti port in Georgia, Trend reports via Poti City Hall.
As reported, a road will be built bypassing the populated areas, which will connect the port, free industrial zone, economic clearance zone, and other terminals.
A tender has already been announced for the procurement of feasibility study services for the construction of a new bypass road in Poti.
Poti City Hall notes that the construction of the road has been put on the agenda due to the increased traffic at the port.
At the same time, at the entrance of the city of Poti on the Rioni River, construction of an overpass bridge and a two-kilometer access road as part of the E60-E-70 Expressway, financed by the Asian Development Bank, is underway.
