Turkmenistan will prepare a program for the development of the construction sector for the next year, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The corresponding instruction was given by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the working meeting.
The president noted the importance of taking appropriate measures to ensure that production facilities operate at full capacity.
The head of the state also instructed to use the full capacity of subordinate systems, to modernize their production lines through reconstruction. He also said that the list and volumes of production of import-substituting domestic products should be expanded.
Berdimuhamedov also stressed the importance of finding new markets and ways to sell domestic goods.
One of the main tasks is to increase the provision of energy and chemical industries with highly qualified personnel in the required specialties.
Turkmenistan has exceeded the estimates for production and provision of services in the construction sector by 20.9 percent from January through November 2020.
The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan surpassed projections in the construction sector by 9 percent during the reporting period.
Turkmen Ministry of Industry and Construction of the country exceeded the plan for the provision of services by 4.1 percent, and the Ministry of Energy by 19.8 percent.
The municipal administration of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, exceeded the plan for works performed and services rendered by 17.2 percent from January through October.
