Turkmenistan plans to launch new factory related to construction materials

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15

Turkmenistan’s Ak hunji company plans to put into operation a factory for the production of decorative ceiling profiles with an improved surface made of extruded polystyrene foam with a capacity of 1.2 million linear meters per year in 2021, Trend reports with reference to “Turkmenistan: Zolotoy Vek” (Turkmenistan: Golden Age) electronic newspaper.

These products are planned to be sold in the domestic and foreign markets.

The construction is carried out with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which provided Ak hunji with loan funds in the amount of $1.8 million for the purchase of construction materials for the construction of the workshop and the purchase of equipment.

The company has also launched the manufacture of products for the exterior decoration of buildings under construction.

AK hunji was founded in 2009 and is a leading manufacturer of thermal insulation and decorative building materials made of expanded polystyrene, as well as sandwich panels in Turkmenistan.
