The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan has exceeded the plan for construction work and services rendered in 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
This was stated by Minister of Industry and Construction Production Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a working meeting on the development of the construction and industrial sector, held by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Thus, the Ministry's growth rate of industrial production, construction work performed and services rendered exceeded by 7.9 percent from January through December 2020 compared to last year.
During the reporting period, cement plants produced more than 1.9 million tons of cement.
The plan for the production of expanded clay was exceeded by 0.3 percent with a growth rate of 0.2 percent.
The plan for the production of rolled metal was fulfilled by 100 percent, the growth rate was 1.6 percent.
The plan for the production of construction glass was exceeded by 1.4 percent. The growth rate compared to the previous year is 0.1 percent.
The plan for the production of reinforced concrete structures was completed by 3.9 percent.
In order to accelerate the process of digitalization, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, as well as in supervised institutions and enterprises, has drawn up a "Plan of upcoming work for 2020-2021 on the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan".
In addition, an electronic document management system has been introduced and approvals have been made with the relevant institutions. Currently, electronic document management is established between 27 subordinate institutions and enterprises.
