Iran is starting the construction of 750,000 housing units as part of the National Housing Movement Plan for building affordable houses for the low income, said the deputy of housing and construction in the Ministry of Road and Urban Development, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The construction of 210,000 housing units has started during the president's visit to Yazd, while 540,000 units are in ongoing stages of construction, Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh noted.
Applicants for the following housing plan would receive advances as part of the national housing construction plan.
Iran Ministry of Road and Urban Development plans construction of two million housing units for low-income class in one year as part of government landmark housing plan to build four million residential units in next four years.
