Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The Asian Bank of Development (ABD) is planning to hold a workshop to familiarize Azerbaijan with the accountability and transparency system within the framework of credits of the bank, ABD's representative reported.
ABD experts will visit Baku to hold the workshop and representatives of non-governmental organizations, the private sector and state structures will attend the workshop. ABD has already held similar workshops in the Central Asian countries.
Since 1999 ABD has been allocated state grants to the amount of $104mln and $31mln to the private sector. Azerbaijan holds 0,448% of shares of ABD and presently, $13.4mnl has been paid.
