Central Office of Palmali to Move to Isanbul in 2008

Turkey, Ankara / corr Trend A.Alasgarov / A group of companies Palmali intends to replace their office in Malti to Istanbul in 2008, as well as invest $1.3bln for purchase of oil tankers under Turkish flag, Mubariz Mansimov, said in an interview for Hurriyet newspaper.

Vessels sailing under the Turkish flags will function for transportation of oil entering Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline.

The PALMАLI is involved in cargo deliveries in the Mediterranean, Caspian, and the Black Sea Basin. It is the largest company involved in transportation in Russian internal waters with a fleet comprising over 116 oil tankers and 14 dry cargo of different capacities.

PALMALI mainly specializes in the transportation of oil products (petrol, gasoline, vacuum gasoline, stove fuel, and kerosene), crude oil, food, and industrial lubricants. Furthermore, the company has its own dry cargo fleet, which is used in the transportation of all types of dry cargo.
