Jeep Wrangler Ultimate Set For SEMA Show

( Worldcarfans ) - What's in a name? Turns out, somewhat alot. The Jeep Wrangler Ultimate with 392 HEMI from Mopar is a concept vehicle built to answer a question asking to what extreme the Wrangler can be taken. The Design team, headed by Mark Allen, began with a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in creating a car as stylish as it is of high quality, all the while building upon Jeep's best-ever off-road vehicle.

Driven by their philosophy to demonstrate the Wrangler's 'Designed for Customisation' nature, the car has received a number of modifications to take it within reach of SEMA, where it will be on show at Las Vegas from 30th October to 2nd November and later be shown around the US.

Ride height has been increased by 3 inches to the suspension, allowing for the installation of custom, polished 'Alcoa Forged' 18-inch alloy wheels and 35-inch 'Mud Terrain' tires. Chrome is splashed about the Wrangler Ultimate concept with the car's side steps, door handles and hinges, side mirrors and rear light guards being among the features gaining the treatment. The chrome is set off by what Jeep call a 'wildly experimental' paint job, named 'Liquid Charcoal Pearl Coat'.

Cabin enhancements are as 'tough and beautiful as the exterior', with the interior designed to mimic the inate style and detail of 'rugged adventure sports bags and accessories'. Orange mesh fabric and dark slate grey Nappa/Province leather seats are finished with a heavy black-leather stitch, while the dashboard reinforces Jeep's machined character through a combination of Argent Pearl and Satin Silver paints. DVD screens for passengers front and rear as well as the exclusive MyGIG Multimedia Infotainment System are fitted.

A 6.4-litre HEMI engine, the 392, provides authentic performance 'on the trail' and off it.
