( Worldcarfans ) - Following the SEMA unveiling last week of the Pratt & Miller built E85 powered 600hp Corvette C6RS which was commissioned by American talk show host and die hard car enthusiast Jay Leno, Pratt & Miller soon afterwards announced they will produce a limited edition Corvette C6RS. Available in April 2008 the C6RS is based on Pratt & Miller's Le Mans-winning Corvette C6.R race cars including a Katech built 8.2-liter (500ci) all-aluminum small-block V-8 engine producing 600 hp and 600 ft.-lbs of torque, full carbon fiber body shell and outer panels, computer-controlled adjustable suspension, Brembo monoblock brakes, center-nut forged aluminum BBS wheels with Michelin tires and two-tone leather interior.
Pratt & Miller make no mention whether the limited edition C6RS will be E85 biofuel powered like Jay Leno's SEMA car, but surely, if the price is right, it can be done. See press release below for further details regarding body and technical upgrades.
