Badalova / Within the framework of the second regional business forum in Havana including a delegation of the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry, a company of Azerbaijan and that of Cuba signed protocols on intensions to sell Azerbaijani wine, brandy and other strong drinks in Cuba, the Economic Development Ministry reported.
Moreover, the companies signed protocols on import of Cuban rum and cigars to Azerbaijan.
Presentation of wines, brandies and other strong drinks made in Azerbaijan was held during the forum and meetings with such well-known Cuban companies as Kuba Nikel, LabioFarm, FarmaCuba, and Maprinter took place. Cooperation in tourism with Cuban Tourism Ministry and representatives of tourism companies was discussed at the forum.
The Azerbaijani delegation also met with the president of Cuban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as with the representatives of Cuban Foreign Ministry, Foreign Trade Ministry, and Foreign Investments & Economic Cooperation Ministry. Economic cooperation and cooperation prospects, importance of the Azerbaijan-Cuba inter-governmental commission in expansion of trade and economic relations was discussed.
