( Worldcarfans ) - The sixth generation Golf will be all new and among us by the end of 2008. Today we came across the new Golf in a giant sandbox during testing runs.
The VW Golf VI has been designed by Volkswagen's head designer Walter de Silva and VW is looking to increase the build quality while powering the new Golf with more economical engines. This would include a BlueMotion version and possibly even a hybrid model sometime in 2009.
The range will again consist of a three- and five-door model with a stationwagon coming later in the life cycle followed eventually by a GTi and ragtop convertible. But what we want to know is whether a new R32 is in the pipeline and how powerful it will be.
