Azerbaijan Plan to Sign Trade-economic Cooperation Agreement with Six Other Individuals from Russian Federation
Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 March / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / In 2008, Azerbaijan is planning to sign inter-governmental agreement on trade-economic cooperation with six other individuals from the Russian Federation, Yuri Shedrin, trade representative of Russia in Azerbaijan, stated on 6 March. Similar document was signed with 13 other individuals of Russia, particularly from Leningrad, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Nijegorodskoy and Kamerovsk provinces.
The Government of Nijegorodskoy province has specified priorities of improving the trade-economic relationships with Azerbaijan. The trade turnover with the province totaled $101mln in 2007. This volume was reached without placing an order to Sormov plant, which is usually implemented for the Caspian Shipping and Transnational transport company Palmali. Taking into consideration the orders, the volume of trade turnover with Nijegorodskoy province will increase to $200mln, Shedrin said.
