Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 March / Trend / The conveyance of passengers by the State Railway of Azerbaijan totaled to 6.592.000 people in 2007 which is 774,000 more than the figure of 2006, Aliyar Muradov, the department head of Railway said.
According to Murdov, some 2.158.700 passengers were conveyed by local lines, 699,400 by international routes and 3.740.100 by the suburban lines.
Current repairs were carried out in some 370 passenger cars and current repairs in 68 carriages by the car repair shop of Baku in 2007.
