India's Sensex gains 3.3 per cent in early trade
After days of trading in the red India's benchmark Sensex on Wednesday was up 3.3 per cent in early trade when funds bought heavily after the US Federal Reserve cut interest rates. ( dpa )
The 30-stock Sensex on the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading at 15,323 - up by 490 points.
The broader 50-stock S& P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was trading at 4657 up 2.75 per cent or 124 points.
