Supply at Baku Secondary Automobile Market Rising Dramatically

Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 April / Trend corr U. Ismayilova/ In March, the number of cars put for sale in the Baku secondary automobile market grew by 60%, the public organization Real Estate Market Participants reported.

"Cars, the cost for which varied between $13,000 and $18,000, were most popular in the month," the organization reported.

Out of 6,400 cars supplied to the secondary market, the number of Mercedes-Benz cars comprised 45.8%. BMW took the second place (1% drop from 2007) and Opel took the third (8.1% rise from 2007).

Within the first quarter of 2008, the most dynamic development in the secondary automobile market occurred in March. Though in March sale of second-hand automobiles was stopped in several parts of the city, the secondary automobile market was still very active.
