Azerbaijani State Property Register Service to Turn to One Window System

Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 May / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / The State Real Estate Register Service of Azerbaijan is to shift to one window system, Arif Garashov, Head of the State Service, stated.

"State Service will upgrade the methods and will decrease real estate registration term," Garashov said.

According to Garashov, the State Service has already launched measures to upgrade the registering system within the framework of the World Bank project.

The Azerbaijani government and WB signed an agreement on joint introduction of a real estate cadastre system in July 2007. Project consists of four constituents - registration of real estate; management and registration of state property; profound cartography and land cadastre and trainings.

The cost of the project is $38.57mln with WB $30mln share. The credit resources were allocated for 20 years term with privileged 5 years period.

About 13 out of 20 district departments of the Service have already turned to automated documents to register real estate.

Garashov said that four documents need to submit for real estate registration:

- Document, which sates the status of the plot;

- Construction project;

- Project should be approved by State Admission Commission,

- Registration of family members

"About 85% of constructions in Azerbaijan have already been registered by the Real Estate Register Service," Garashov stated.
