Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 August / Trend / In July, agriculture product prices in Azerbaijan reduced by 1.5% as compared to the previous month, but it rose by 12.3% as compared to January-July of 2007.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in July price index on plant growing and melon-growing made up 99.4% as compared to June.
Fruit prices rose by 4%, hazel and nut by 2.6%, and crops, on the contrary, reduced by 2.8%.
Price index on animal husbandry products amounted to 98.1% as compared to June. Prices on big horned cattle and its products reduced by 4.8% and small horned cattle (sheep) by 3.7%.
Prices on forest economy and fishery remained unchanged.
