Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 August/ Trend , corr U. Ismayilova/ The income of all insurance companies of Azerbaijan totaled to AZN133.3mln in January to June 2008, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan said on 21 August.
The insurance premiums amounted to AZN97.9mln in the first half year and reinsurance premiums - AZN3.8mln, repayment of insurance reserves - AZN13.8mln, income of the companies from investing insurance reserves - AZN3.6mln and other expenditures - AZN9.9mln.
The expenditures of insurance companies made up AZN120.3mln in January to June.
Moreover, insurance payments made up AZN 22mln, assignment of insurance reserves - AZN40.9mln, re-insurance payments - AZN 35.5mln and AZN329,000 for administrative works, AZN1.3 - for insurance activities and AZN 400,000 for other expenditures.
The balance income of the companies comprised AZN 13mln, balance losses - 0 and payments to the budget - AZN 793,000.
There are 28 insurance companies and one re-insurance company in Azerbaijan.
