I.Khalilova/ In August 2008, according to the calculations by the Analytical Department of BSE, in the government securities market (excluding repo operations market) Standard Capital headed ranking of brokers with brokerage services provided to 7 clients in the total amount of AZN 25,895,870.76. The second leading broker was BoB Broker with brokerage services of AZN 23,621,293.08 provided to 3 clients, which is by AZN 2,274,577.68 less than the indicator of Standard Capital. Respublika Invest held the third place in ranking of brokers with 22,484,681.04 AZN.
We should note that in August the leading amount in the ranking of brokers decreased compared to the previous month. So, in July the leading amount of brokerage services provided made AZN 75,372,849.18. Moreover, in August of this year on the above-stated segment of the market the number of brokers rendered services decreased from 11 to 9.
