Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 September / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / From January to August 2008, the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan transferred AZN 744.47mln to budget, against the forecasted AZN 742mln.
From January to August, the Customs Committee's assessments exceeded the index in 2007 by AZN 238.4mln or 47.11%.
Azerbaijan increased commodity export ten times by $31,282,365,700 from January to July 2008, against the same period in 2007. Total export sum was $34,678,290,300.
Commodity import exceeded $1,028,320,700 or 35.81%. Azerbaijan has exercised commodity operations with 131 foreign countries to $3,900,231,800.
Azerbaijan exported 1,696 commodity varieties and imported -5,240.
