Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 October / Trend / West-East Bank (Luxemburg), one of the leading European banks, allocated a $5mln loan to Azerbaijani leasing company Unileasing, the company reported.
The foreign bank's means are planned to be directed to financing of leasing operations.
This credit line is a next in turn successful project of Azerbaijani company at the international scene. In 2005 the Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development granted $1.7mln to Unileasing within the framework of the private enterprise development project, in 2006 the International Finance Corporation granted $5mln under the Azerbaijani leasing market development project, in 2006 the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development opened a $3mln credit line credit to Unileasing for financing the company's leasing operations, in 2007 Raifaizenbank (Austria) credited €400,000 to Unileasing to finance export of leasing units from Germany and Austria, in 2008 in order to finance the export of leasing units from USA Eximbank (USA) approved a credit line at the rate of $2.5mln to the leasing company.
