Azerbaijan Puts No Claim on Colleagues in CIS for Loss in Railway Deliveries

Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 October / corr Trend E.Ismayilov  / "The Azerbaijani State Railway (ASR) does not lay any claim on the railways of the CIS and Baltic countries for losses in goods transportation," Teymur Mammadov, deputy head on cargo and commercial work of the ASR Transportation Management Department, said.

"A freight train exploded due to the last events in Georgia, but Georgia paid out overcompensation to an owner of load. For the time being, we have no claims to anybody," Mammadov said at the sitting of administrations of railways of the CIS and Baltic countries in Baku.

The problems with traffic arise almost of all in the territory between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, among CIS countries. "No claims are laid on Azerbaijan. We had only some problems and theу have been solved," Mammadov said.
