Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 November / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / We cannot say that the world financial crisis has seriously influenced on the Azerbaijani real estate market, Yadigar Jafarli, the press secretary of the State Service for Real Estate Registration, believes.

"If we compare the current state of the real estate market of the country with the same period of 2007, we can see that there are negative changes neither in primary nor secondary market," Jafarli said.

According to Jafarli, the market has grown dynamically within this period.

A total of 8,100 kinds of real estate, including 3,400 for primary market and 4,800 for secondary market, were registered at the State Service in September 2007. About 10,000 kinds of real estate, including 4,000 for primary and more than 6,000 for secondary housing market, were registered in September 2008.

Figures indicate averagely 22%-growth, including 17% of growth at the primary and 26% - secondary market of real estate, he said.

"You see, the Azerbaijani real estate market preserves its activity, despite developments at the world financial market," Jafarli said.
