Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 November/ Trend / AZAL closed joint stock company (Azerbaijan's civil aviation administration) will carry out structural changes and reduction of a staff, the company said, but did not divulge what structural changes will be take place and how many workers will be reduced.
The pattern of ownership of AZAL has been reorganized at the beginning of 2008 at the presidential decree. The reorganization was carried out to distribute commercial and regulatory functions of the company. These functions are distributed between AZAL and State Civil Aviation Administration.
According to a decree on reorganization of AZAL, the distribution was carried out to further develop civil aviation, improve airway services and security of flights.
