The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) rose above the 45-dollar mark again on Tuesday, the cartel announced on Wednesday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC crude stood at 45.53 dollars Tuesday, 1.05 dollars higher than on the previous day, reported dpa.
The Vienna-based organization calculates an average price based on 13 important brands produced by its members.
