Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.13 / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova /"In Nov. 2008, the average price for one square metre in the Baku primary real estate market decreaed by 2.9% making up $1,167," the public organization Real Estate Market Participants reported. In Oct., 1 square metre in the primary real estate market cost $1,202.
The average index of apartment squares on the primary housing in Nov. made up 120.2 square metre, which is by 0.08% less compared to Oct. (120 square metres). The average index of blocks in constructing apartments made up 2-3 and the average storey index was 15.1.
Most of the newly constructed buildings were constructed the Yasamal, Nasimi and Khatai districts in Bak, which made up 67.3% of the primary housing market in Baku.
The increase in prices in Khatai district totaled 1.2%, Yasamal - 0.4% and Sabail- 1.2%, Narimanov -0.9%, Nizami -0.3%, Surakhani - 4.3%. The prices keep stable in other district of Baku.
In accordance with the monitoring results by the public organization, 567 buildings were constructed, as well as construction and sale of two buildings were completed in Baku in Nov. Buildings were constructed by 212 construction companies.
