Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 16 / Trend , U.Ismayilova /
AvtoVAZ JSC exported almost 11,500 cars in Azerbaijan in 2008, which is by 1.3 percent more than in 2007, the company said.
AvtoVAZ export in 2008 amounted to 106,000 vehicles, like in
2007. In the year before last the company has exported 106,900 cars, the
company reported.
The company's sales growth in these countries is explained
by start of export of new Lada 1117, Lada 1118 and Lada 1119 cars abroad, as
well as output of new Lada 2170 and Lada 2172 cars to EU countries.
The average car prices fell by seven per cent - up to
$18,2500 in Baku in December compared to November. This occurred under the
influence of the global financial crisis, experts of the public organization
Participants of real property market believe. The automobile exposure term in
December rose by five days - up to 75 days, which in turn leads to an increase
in the level of risk and lower liquidity of the property.
In December, relative activity was observed on the
automobile market of Baku that was linked to the seasonal period. Proposals on
the market grew by 1.4 percent last month.
New offered cars, as well as willingness of owners to sell cars in the past
year helped the growth of supplies, the organization experts believe.
