Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 27/ Trend , N. Kirtskhalia/ Sweden will render financial support worth €50 million to Georgia, minister of international development and cooperation of Sweden Gunilla Carlsson said in a joint press conference with the Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze in Tbilisi.
"Despite global crisis we will render financial support to Georgia," Carlsson said.
The meeting of ministers focused on Georgia's integration to Europe and support by the Old World for reforms in Georgia. Simplifying visa regime was also discussed.
Georgian foreign minister said Sweden is one of the leading partners of Georgia.
Swedish financial aid will be used to promote reforms and development of infrastructure.
