Advertisement law will be changed in Georgia. It was initiated by MPs Giorgi Meladze, Lasha Tordia and Pavle Kublashvili.
Upon the project, placing strong alcoholic drinks advertisement will be possible in towns and other settlements, prospects, bridges, squares and on television after 22:00 p.m. by Jan. 1, 2011. Alcoholic drinks
will be sold in 100 meters from sports and cultural facilities.
According to Georgian legislation, advertisement of strong alcoholic drinks and tobacco at the above-mentioned objects is completely forbidden.
