Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 5/ Trend S. Babayeva/ In 2008 investments in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) totaled 310 million manat, increasing 38.9 percent as compared to 2007, permanent representation of NAR in Baku said.
Construction enterprises of NAR carried out work totaling 251.3 million manat during the year, which 62.5 percent exceeded indices of 2007. Amount of investments in construction sector totals 90.7 percent of all investments to NAR.
Of all investments, 187 million manat was deposited towards constructing new buildings, 45 million manat - capital repair, 12 million manat - current repair, 9.1 million manat - other construction operations.
