The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry issued a permanent insurance license to AIG Caspian Insurance, press reported.
The license was issued on Feb. 5.
Permanent licenses are issued in accordance with the Law on Insurance Activities passed in March 2008.
AIG Caspian Insurance is owned by the Azerbaijani government (51 percent) and American Insurance Group (49 percent). The company's authorized capital is 3.5 million manat.
