Georgia and Bulgaria to cooperate in trade-economic sphere

Georgia and Bulgaria plan to cooperate in trade-economic sphere, Georgia's Ministry of Economy said.

The third meeting of Georgian-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation will be held in Tbilisi on Feb. 19-20 on this regard.

Georgia's Minister of Economy Lasha Jvania and Bulgarian Minister of Transport Petar Mutafchiev will participate in the commission.

The issues of bilateral cooperation, namely, in trade, transport, communication, tourism, agriculture, energy, environmental protection, public health, defence and protection of borders will be considered during the meeting," the Ministry said.

Bulgarian and Georgia's businessmen are planned to meet as a part of Bulgarian delegation's visit. An agreement on cooperation in mail service, E-communication and IT is expected to be signed between two countries.
