Georgia is an important trade partner for Turkey, Turkish Foreign Trade State Minister Kursad Tuzmen told journalists in Tbilisi on Feb. 24.
Tuzmen is participating in a Georgian-Turkish business forum that began at the Courtyard Marriott in Tbilisi on Feb. 24. the Georgian and Turkish businessmen are discussing joint business ventures and investing in the Georgian economy. A delegation comprising 150 entrepreneurs arrived from Turkey.
"We should use Georgia's economic opportunities. I am sure the country has a great future. Lots of prospective projects can be realized here," Tuzmen said.
Tuzmen will meet with Georgian Prime Minister Nikoloz Gilauri as part of the business forum.
