The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan will hold the 1st International conference of students "Tourism as the factor insuring intercultural dialogue" on April 21-22, the Ministry told on April 13. The conference will be aimed at developing education in the field of tourism, and also propagating and promoting of tourism potential of Azerbaijan.
The conference will be attended by the students from several universities of Azerbaijan, as well as Britain, France, Russia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
According to official statistics, 10 percent increase is expected in tourism sphere in Azerbaijan in 2009.
