A total of 37 companies from 7 countries will participate in the Transport, Transit and Logistics TRANSCASPIAN 2009 exhibition to be held in Baku on June 2-5, Iteca Caspian manager Tofiq Karimov said.
"The 37 countries also include Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Majority of companies are domestic companies," Karimov said.
He said given willingness of TransCaspian exhibition participants, the date of the exhibition is timed to the date of Caspian Oil and Gas, Oil Refining and Petrochemical exhibition also to enable members of the represented sectors to participate.
Major sections of the exhibition are road transport, transport of oil/pipeline, railway transport, shipbuilding, forwarding agent, sea transport, logistics, railway equipment, custom services, and insurance of cargo, road building equipment and handling machinery.
The exhibition is officially supported by the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry, TRACECA, Commerce and Industrial Chamber and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promoting Fund.
