Azerbaijani largest insurance company MBASK has launched the first project on banking sales of insurance products Bankssurance.
Project's target is a joint sale of insurance products through active involvement of sales of bank employees. Everyone can appeal to bank's financial advisor to acquire insurance policy or to get got consultation on insurance issues. The implementation of the project has been launched in branches of the Unibank.
Financial consultants of the commercial Unibank have studied products of the insurance company at special trainings, devoted to the joint program Bankssurance and became certificated consultants on insurance issues.
Clients of the bank are satisfied with the convenience of the service, as the service allows to save time through drawing up the insurance policy in bank's department.
"Introduction of the service is perspective in Azerbaijan both for insurance companies and banks," MBASK Sale Department Director Kamran Bagirov said.
The sale of insurance products makes up 15 percent of aggregate revenues of banks in Europe. The rapid development of the banking sector in Azerbaijan created preferences to introduce this service. Development of the banking insurance, which will be carried out through a wide network of bank branches, will be an additional impetus for further development of the insurance market, Bagirov said.
